Baseball Recap: Mosley Comes Up Short

Mosley and Lincoln squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Mosley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 5-4. The loss continues a trend for the Dolphins in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Peyton Williams and Xavier Demro stepped up to the plate in a big way. Williams went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Demro went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Mosley's record now sits at 19-7. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 12-14.

Mosley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they will square off against Chiles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Timberwolves will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
