Basketball Game Preview: Knight Hawks vs. Price Knights

The Knight Hawks will square off against the Price Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Knight comes in on 11 and Price on six.

Knight is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They skirted past Hesperia 56-53. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Scorpions are ranked 283rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Price got the win against Ayala on Friday by a conclusive 83-60.

Knight better keep an eye on Keshrey Smith, Jr. He was instrumental in Price's win, putting up 16 points in addition to eight assists and six boards. What's more, Smith, Jr also posted five steals, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tyrell Miller, who earned 13 points along with seven blocks and six rebounds.

Knight's victory bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Price, their win bumped their record up to 23-6.

Knight didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Price in their previous matchup back in December of 2017, but they still walked away with a 54-50 victory. Does Knight have another victory up their sleeve, or will Price turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
