Mt. Spokane came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points), and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 31-13 win over the Ridgeline Falcons. The Wildcats pushed the score to 31-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons cut but never quite recovered from.

Mt. Spokane's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Ridgeline, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mt. Spokane is set to take on their familiar foe Cheney at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Wildcats 12.8, the Blackhawks 10.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Ridgeline will face off against rival Ferris at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
