Basketball Recap: North Babylon Falls Short of Northport in the Playoffs

North Babylon and Northport squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but North Babylon had to settle for second. They fell to the Northport Tigers 60-54. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

North Babylon's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Northport, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

North Babylon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northport, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers face off against the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northport knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Walt Whitman likes a good challenge.
