Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Forest Park walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the South Spencer Rebels on Thursday. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Forest Park was led to victory by Mya Wehr and Carli Hagedorn. Wehr had ten digs and four aces, while Hagedorn had ten digs. That's the most aces Wehr has posted since back in September.

Despite the defeat, South Spencer had strong showings from Kendall Lloyd, who had 22 digs, and Kali Wink, who had seven digs and one assist. Lloyd has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 16 times she's played.

Forest Park's win bumped their record up to 22-6. As for South Spencer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-17 record this season.

Forest Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Perry Central on the 18th. South Spencer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
