Baseball Game Preview: Copper Hills Grizzlies vs. Weber Warriors

For the second straight game, Copper Hills will face off against Weber. The Grizzlies will face off against the Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Copper Hills is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Weber by a score of 6-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Grizzlies as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Elijah Steffey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up seven Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Copper Hills is 3-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-20 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Gage Lintz was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Jace Barker was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
