Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Savannah Schultz stepped things up a notch to give Grand Blanc the 'W'. Schultz made a splash, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. She was dominant the last time she took on Midland back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Schultz has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Schultz's effort led Grand Blanc over Midland and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
