Baseball Recap: Nyack Comes Up Short at Home Against Suffern

Nyack unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Suffern Mounties on Saturday, falling 7-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Nyack saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Caneiro, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Looking ahead, Nyack will square off against Croton-Harmon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Suffern, they will head out to take on Clarkstown South at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
