Basketball Game Preview: Raymond Central Mustangs vs. Yutan Chieftains

Raymond Central hasn't had much luck against Yutan recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Raymond Central Mustangs will be playing at home against the Yutan Chieftains at 6:00 p.m.

Raymond Central saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a hard 50-34 fall against Johnson-Brock. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Yutan). They blew past Conestoga 69-14 last Saturday. Given the Chieftains' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Cougars are ranked 203rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Raymond Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Yutan, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
