Basketball Recap: St. Augustine's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

St. Augustine came into Wednesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They enjoyed a cozy 51-37 win over the St. Joseph Flyers on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Augustine's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for St. Joseph, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Augustine will square off against St. Anthony at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Augustine has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for St. Joseph, they will head out to square off against Saint Mary's Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
