            Softball Recap: Hamilton County Trojans vs. ED White Commanders        
        
		
        
        
            Hamilton County's game  last Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They walked away with  an   11-6  victory over the ED White Commanders. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their two-run performance the  contest before.
 Ralynn Moody was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 13 batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and three unearned) runs off   four  hits. Those  13  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-5 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple. That  triple was  her first of the season.

 In other batting news,  Aubrey Shehan was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-3. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high.
Hamilton County moved to 4-8 with that  win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for ED White,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
 Looking ahead, Hamilton County will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort White  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Fort White's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4  runs per game  this season, so Hamilton County's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for ED White, they will head out to  square off against Eagle's View  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. ED White's pitchers better be ready for this one: Eagle's View has averaged an impressive 6.6  runs per game this season.
