Volleyball Game Preview: Westfield Shamrocks vs. Hamilton Heights Huskies

Westfield is 8-2 against Hamilton Heights since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Shamrocks will welcome the Huskies at 5:30 p.m. Westfield will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Westfield is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Plainfield, who was ranked 12th at the time (Westfield was ranked second). The Shamrocks came out on top against the Quakers by a score of 3-1 on Saturday.

Westfield walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 20-25, 25-16, 25-23.

Emily Blevins and Kendyl Strack were among the main playmakers for Westfield as the former had 23 assists and 13 digs and the latter had 22 digs and three aces. Blevins has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last 13 times she's played.

Meanwhile, Hamilton Heights unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Benton Central by a score of 2-1.

Hamilton Heights' loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 19-7. As for Westfield, their win bumped their record up to 21-1.
