Volleyball Recap: Gadsden Takes a Loss

Gadsden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roswell Coyotes. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Coyotes from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Gadsden started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 27-25, 25-16, 25-18.

Gadsden's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Roswell, their victory ended a seven-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-12.

Looking ahead, Gadsden will host Organ Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Roswell, they will head out to challenge Portales at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
