It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Logan ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the West Field Longhorns a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Logan were the better team in the second half.

Logan's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for West Field, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Logan will venture away from home to face off against Sky View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Field, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bear River at 7:00 p.m. on April 8.
