Kennesaw Mountain has gone a perfect 7-0 against Kell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mustangs will take on the Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. Kennesaw Mountain will be strutting in after a victory while Kell will be coming in after a defeat.

Kennesaw Mountain took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on South Paulding with a sharp 5-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Kennesaw Mountain needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Meanwhile, Kell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to Cambridge. While losing is never fun, Kell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 348th, while Cambridge are ranked 21st).

Kennesaw Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those six games. As for Kell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Kennesaw Mountain was able to grind out a solid win over Kell when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
