Softball Recap: West Genesee Has No Trouble Against Fulton

West Genesee won the last time they faced Fulton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wildcats were the clear victors by an 18-5 margin over the Red Raiders. The matchup marked the Wildcats' most dominant victory of the season.

West Genesee got a massive performance out of Kyra Lynch, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave Lynch a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anna Drogo, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for West Genesee and bumps their season record up to 9-11. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Fulton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-4 record this season.

As of now, neither West Genesee nor Fulton have any future games scheduled.
