Baseball Recap: Quantico Takes a Loss

Quantico had lost four straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 3-8 to make it five. They fell just short of the Seton Conquistadors by a score of 4-3. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Conquistadors earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Gunner Wolfenbarker was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Jackson Bartz also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

As for Seton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch.

On Seton's side, the team relied heavily on Joey Goodman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Quantico does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Seton has already played their next contest (against Immanuel Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
