Basketball Recap: CORE Butte Comes Up Short

CORE Butte lost against Los Molinos back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The CORE Butte Lynx fell 49-38 to the Los Molinos Bulldogs. The Lynx have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

CORE Butte's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Los Molinos, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. CORE Butte will face off against Chester at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Los Molinos, they will challenge Redding Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Redding Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Los Molinos likes a good challenge.
