Curwensville won the last time they faced Oswayo Valley, and Davis Fleming did his part to make sure it happened again. The Curwensville Golden Tide strolled past the Oswayo Valley Green Wave with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 66-50 thanks in part to Fleming, who went 11 for 17 en route to 28 points and six rebounds. The game was his fourth in a row with at least 25 points.

Tuck Tkacik was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 11 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (four).

Curwensville's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Oswayo Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Curwensville and Oswayo Valley could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Curwensville (ranked 685th) will meet Clearfield (ranked 226th) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Curwensville is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Meanwhile, Oswayo Valley will square off against Cameron County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 355 places (642 vs. 287).
