McKinney Boyd's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Rock Hill Blue Hawks with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Blue Hawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

While McKinney Boyd might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Rock Hill scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-23.

Rock Hill's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Emma Alexander, who had 21 digs and two aces, and Sam Tancinco, who had 16 assists and eight digs. Alexander is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

McKinney Boyd's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Rock Hill, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. McKinney Boyd will face off against rival Plano at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rock Hill is set to take on their familiar foe Plano East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
