Baseball Recap: Enterprise Comes Up Short

Enterprise and Lake squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Enterprise had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 9-8. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Enterprise has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season. As for Lake, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Enterprise beat the Hornets by a score of 6-4 on Saturday.
