Basketball Recap: Tenor Piles Up the Points Against University Lake/Trinity Academy

There's no place like home for Tenor, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 77-18 win over University Lake/Trinity Academy. That 59 point margin sets a new team best for Tenor this season.

Tenor got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Shane Emanuel out in front who went 6 of 9 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. Emanuel's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anton Bounds, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards.

Tenor's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.8 points per game. As for University Lake/Trinity Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
