Basketball Recap: Woodville-Tompkins' Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Woodville-Tompkins won against Toombs County last Wednesday with 49 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines came out on top against the Savannah Christian Raiders by a score of 49-36. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-34 back in January.

Woodville-Tompkins' win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-9. As for Savannah Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodville-Tompkins will venture away from home to face off against Vidalia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Vidalia has won ten straight at home, while Woodville-Tompkins won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Savannah Christian, they will head out to take on Swainsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Savannah Christian is facing Swainsboro at the right time seeing as Swainsboro is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
