Football Recap: Seagoville Comes Up Short on the Road Against Chisholm Trail + How To Watch

Seagoville had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 48-14 loss at the hands of the Chisholm Trail Rangers. The Dragons gained 150 more yards on the day, but it was the Rangers that made the best use of them.

When it comes to explaining why Seagoville lost, don't look at Kollin Williams. Despite the final result, he rushed for 103 yards, and also threw for 120 yards and one TD.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chisholm Trail to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keaton Rose, who threw for 119 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Another player making a difference was William Quintana-Rodriguez, who rushed for 59 yards and a pair of scores.

Seagoville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 39-8 win against White on the 4th. As for Chisholm Trail, they have also already played their next contest, a 33-24 loss against Mansfield Legacy on the 5th.
