Yucca Valley lost against Valley View back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yucca Valley Trojans had to suffer through a 60-27 loss at the hands of the Valley View Eagles. The loss leaves the Trojans without a win on the season.
Valley View got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Davion Moore out in front who went 7 for 13 en route to 15 points plus six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah McDaniel, who went 7 for 12 en route to 15 points.
Yucca Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Valley View, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-5.
Yucca Valley will face off against Xavier Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Yucca Valley is facing Xavier Prep at the right time seeing as Xavier Prep is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Valley View, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 56-50 victory against Indio on the 7th.
