Softball Recap: Niagara Comes Up Short

Niagara was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Florence Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Badgers of the 4-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Niagara's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Florence, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Niagara will square off against North Dickinson at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Florence has already played their next game (against Pembine/Goodman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
