Basketball Recap: Sneads Takes a Loss

Sneads lost against Franklin County two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the Sneads Pirates and the Franklin County Seahawks didn't end well, with the Sneads Pirates falling 50-31. The game marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Sneads' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Franklin County, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Sneads and Port St. Joe will round out the year against one another at at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-38 win against Bell on the 21st.
