Basketball Recap: Sacred Heart Comes Up Short

After soaring to 60 points the game before, Sacred Heart was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 59-28 loss at the hands of the St. Paul Cardinals. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sacred Heart's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for St. Paul, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Sacred Heart is taking a road trip to face off against Bracken Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Bracken Christian has won nine straight at home, while Sacred Heart won 18 straight on the road dating back to last season), something that'll have to change. As for St. Paul, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cardinals duke it out with the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Paul is facing Faith Academy at the right time seeing as Faith Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
