Andover posted their closest victory since September 16th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders, sneaking past 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (69-68) Andover actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 17-25, 26-24.

Despite the defeat, Kapaun Mt. Carmel saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ceci Meier had 15 digs and two assists.

The win made it two in a row for Andover and bumps their season record up to 14-9. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 18-10 record.

Andover has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Newton on the 7th. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Andover Central on the 4th.
