Recap: Capital Cougars vs. Central Kitsap Cougars
After losing to the Central Kitsap Cougars the last time they met, the Capital Cougars decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Capital came out on top against Central Kitsap by a score of 46-35 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Capital.
When it comes to explaining why Central Kitsap lost, one person who can't be blamed is Samantha Schaeffer. Despite the final result, she scored 13 points along with nine rebounds. Ada Davis was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Capital's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Central Kitsap, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Peninsula the next time they take the court. Central Kitsap will host Peninsula at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Capital will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
