State College's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Altoona Mountain Lions 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Little Lions in their matchups with the Mountain Lions: they've now won six in a row.

State College never let Altoona on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Altoona still got an impressive performance from Marina Petucci, who had 17 digs. Petucci is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Brianna Sanchez also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

State College's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Altoona, they dropped their record down to 0-8-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
