Volleyball Recap: Shiloh Christian Takes Down Benton in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Shiloh Christian walked away with it. They blew past the Benton Panthers 3-0 on Monday. The Saints not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 7th (when they won 3-0).

Shiloh Christian found their leader in freshman Bristol Bonanno, who had 26 digs and one assist. Bonanno is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Brown, who had 23 assists and three digs.

Shiloh Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-14-1 record this season. As for Benton, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-10.

Shiloh Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Greenbrier on the 28th. Benton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
