Flag Football Game Preview: Sequoia Ravens vs. Carlmont Scots + How To Watch

The Sequoia Ravens will challenge the Carlmont Scots at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sequoia will be strutting in after a win while Carlmont will be coming in after a loss.

On Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Sequoia beat Terra Nova 32-28. The victory continues a trend for the Ravens in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Jamie Elkington continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 118 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, while also picking up 98 receiving yards and one TD. Hannah Orton was another key player, throwing for 114 yards and three touchdowns.

Sequoia didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Madeleine Briant.

Meanwhile, Carlmont entered their game against Aragon on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Scots took a 20-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dons. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Scots came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Dons are ranked 228th).

Carlmont's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Sequoia, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.
