Galena extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Mia Turner. The Galena Grizzlies simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Hilltop Lancers 57-30 thanks in part to Turner, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten assists. Those ten assists gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Dostalek, who posted nine points. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Galena now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Hilltop, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-3.

Galena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-45 victory against Wilson on the 28th. As for Hilltop, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 28-10 win against Sweetwater on the 30th.
