Softball Recap: East Central Takes a Loss

East Central lost against Cathedral back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell just short of the Fighting Irish by a score of 3-2. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Central saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Black, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

East Central's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Cathedral, the win keeps they at an undefeated 23-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Central will host Greensburg at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cathedral, they will be playing at home against Yorktown at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
