Baseball Game Preview: Plainview Hornets vs. East Beauregard Trojans

The Plainview Hornets will face off against the East Beauregard Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Plainview and eight for East Beauregard.

Plainview fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Reeves on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 7-6.

Tanner Doyle made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double. That double was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for East Beauregard's offense. They came up short against Leesville on Friday, falling 21-0.

Plainview's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for East Beauregard, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.
