Basketball Recap: Jensen Beach Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Jensen Beach needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Cordell Wilkins. The Jensen Beach Falcons greeted the New Year with with a 46-31 win over the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs thanks in part to Wilkins, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in January of 2024.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Ashong, who posted seven points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Despite the loss, Flagler Palm Coast still got an impressive performance from Corinthians Watson Jr, who put up five points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Dominic Pagan, who had five points.

The victory got Jensen Beach back to even at 5-5. As for Flagler Palm Coast, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Jensen Beach didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 75-53 loss against St. Cloud on the 3rd. As for Flagler Palm Coast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-42 win against Eau Gallie on the 3rd.
