Basketball Game Preview: Klondike Cougars vs. Borden County Coyotes

Klondike is 2-8 against Borden County since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Klondike Cougars will head out to square off against the Borden County Coyotes at 8:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Klondike comes in on six and Borden County on four.

Klondike is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Loop: they outscored them in every quarter. Klondike took down Loop 66-48 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Borden County strolled past Sands with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 60-45.

Klondike's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Borden County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Klondike beat Borden County 68-61 when the teams last played on January 10th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Klondike since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
