Baseball Recap: Notre Dame-Green Pond Takes a Loss

Notre Dame-Green Pond lost against Southern Lehigh back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Notre Dame-Green Pond fell just short of Southern Lehigh by a score of 8-7. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jason Frederick made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Michael Wachter, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Notre Dame-Green Pond suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 3-3. As for Southern Lehigh, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.
