Football Game Preview: American Falls Beavers vs. Snake River Panthers + How To Watch

American Falls hasn't had much luck against Snake River recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Beavers will face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. American Falls will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Friday, American Falls was fully in charge, breezing past Bear Lake 41-7. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won three matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

Zakary Grigg continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 258 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 102.3 rushing yards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Lopez, who rushed for 133 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: American Falls was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 521 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Snake River and West Side were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but Snake River suffered a 21-20 defeat. The Panthers have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

American Falls will have to contain Preston Wheatley as he made an impact in Snake River's last game. He picked up 104 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 55 yards and one score. Wheatley also put up two receiving touchdowns, which were his first of the season.

American Falls' record is now 6-1. As for Snake River, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

American Falls couldn't quite finish off Snake River in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 and fell 14-12. Can the Beavers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
