Fillmore hadn't done well against Wellsville recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the Lions 3-0. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won five contests in a row.

Fillmore's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Wellsville, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Fillmore and Wellsville will both be playing Cuba-Rushford the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lions will host them at 7:30 p.m. on the 15th.
