Baseball Game Preview: St. Laurence Vikings vs. DePaul College Prep Rams

For the second straight game, St. Laurence will face off against DePaul College Prep. The Vikings will be playing at home against the Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Laurence is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 21 games.

St. Laurence came out on top against DePaul College Prep on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run fourth inning. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 16-7 margin over the Rams. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won 15 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

For DePaul College Prep's part, Joey Sacchetti was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

St. Laurence pushed their record up to 25-3 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for DePaul College Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-9 record this season.
