Hartsville strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Florence Christian Eagles by a score of 64-54. While the Red Foxes didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hartsville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tristian Spann, who posted 12 points. Kayson Dawson was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Florence Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brayden Berry, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Taylor Greene, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 20 points and five boards.

Hartsville's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Florence Christian, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-2.
