Football Recap: St. Ignatius Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 36 points the game before, St. Ignatius was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a blow against the Victor Pirates, falling 44-8. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Ignatius and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Victor, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Ignatius will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Seeley-Swan at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Victor, they will face off against Charlo at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
