Basketball Recap: Mount Tahoma T-Birds vs. Silas Rams
Mount Tahoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 72-69 heartbreaker at the hands of the Silas Rams. The T-Birds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
MakHai Pleasant-Tolliver was his usual excellent self, putting up 32 points and three blocks for Silas. The team also got some help courtesy of LaMarcus Hinton, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds.
Mount Tahoma now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Silas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Mount Tahoma wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 79-59 victory against Central Kitsap on the 17th. As for Silas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-59 win against Gig Harbor on the 17th.
