Kilgore is a perfect 10-0 against Carthage since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Kilgore will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Carthage better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Kilgore really get things going. Kilgore's defense stepped up to hand Tenaha a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Carthage came up short against Center on Wednesday and fell 4-2. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Roughriders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Cooper Joines wasn't going to let Center walk away unscathed as he scored both of Carthage's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

Kilgore's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those seven contests. As for Carthage, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

Kilgore was able to grind out a solid victory over Carthage in their previous matchup back in January, winning 2-0. Will Kilgore repeat their success, or does Carthage have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
