Basketball Game Preview: Groton Tigers vs. Sisseton Redmen

The Groton Tigers will take on the Sisseton Redmen in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Groton easily dispatched Timber Lake last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Groton fell just short of Hamlin by a score of 44-41 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since December 8, 2023.

Meanwhile, Sisseton came up short against Mobridge-Pollock on Saturday and fell 69-57. The loss was the Redmen's first of the season.

Groton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Sisseton, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1.
