Basketball Game Preview: Hot Springs Bison vs. Upton Bobcats

The Hot Springs Bison and the Upton Bobcats will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Both are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row dating back to last season, Hot Springs turned things around against Oelrichs on Thursday. They breezed by the Tigers to the tune of 77-19. The Bison's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Upton put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 59-29 win over Edgemont. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 28 points or more this season.

Hot Springs' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Upton, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Hot Springs strolled past Upton in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 62-45. Does Hot Springs have another victory up their sleeve, or will Upton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
