Soccer Recap: San Gorgonio Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kaiser last Wednesday, San Gorgonio came back down to earth. The San Gorgonio Spartans fell just short of the Fontana Steelers by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Spartans couldn't quite close it out.

San Gorgonio's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4-4. As for Fontana, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-5-1.

San Gorgonio has already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Bloomington on the 5th. As for Fontana, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Rialto on the 5th.
