Palm Harbor University had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They blew past the Canterbury Crusaders 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Palm Harbor University let Mylie Stout and Ainsley Berard run wild. Stout scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Berard scored two runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs Berard has posted since back in February. Brooklyn Conrad was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Palm Harbor University always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Canterbury only posted an OBP of .381.

Palm Harbor University's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Canterbury, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palm Harbor University will host Osceola at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hurricanes 2.9, the Warriors 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Canterbury, they will face off against Indian Rocks Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
